scusatemi ho bisogno di aiuto uajiu', nello scaricare gli aggiornamenti di open org...mi e' uscito questo messaggio (vedi foto) e non sono riuscito in nessun modo a scaricarli..., il s.o. e' vista 
allora ho provato a disinstallare tutto (open org) e a rinstallarlo...ma mi esce sempre questo messaggio..., cosa sara'...?, e soprattutto cosa devo fare...???

Il problema non è di OpenOffice ma di Windows Installer cioè di Vista. Ho letto un po' i suggerimenti che davano sul web e questo ad alcuni ha funzionato
start<esegui<cmd<ok<digita msiexec/uniregister<invio
msiexec/regserver<invio
il percorso della cartella è \%Windir%\System32
prima di provarlo però aspetta anche cosa dicono gli altri

forse basta che fai un aggiornamento e ti risolvi il problema, ma se non mi sbaglio ancora non è uscita la versione di Open Office per vista... . -

come l'hai cancellate? con CCleaner?
ho disinstallato qualche programma con revo uninstaller...dopo di che' ti da le chiavi di registro collegate...e forse lì non volenodo ho cancella to qualche chiave..., prima ho persino fatto un ripristino di configurazione al 30/01/2009...ma niente ...speramm ca cocc run me ra na man...

Windows Installer Service, I have some info for you. A couple days ago I
tried to uninstall one of my apps and stalled on an error "Windows Installer
Service cannot be accessed". After many trials and errors trying to fix this
issue, I stumbled upon a new fix for this issue that has worked in all these
situations where the Windows Installer Service will not manually start and in
essense, not allow install or uninstall tasks to complete.
Here's the easy steps:
1. Go to a Windows Vista (Any Version) computer that has the Windows
Installer service running correctly and run regedit(Start-Run-Regedit)
2. Go to the location
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\msiserver
3. Right click on this key and select "Export" and save the key to a Flash
Drive or other.
4. Run sfc /scannow on the damaged Vista computer - you won't need the
install disk as it goes to backup files on your HD. Do not reboot when
complete
5. Double click saved .reg file from working machine and import registry
settings into damaged Vista computer.
6. Now reboot and try to install/uninstall
If many of you have success with this method, please post this fix around
the WWW as I went through over 1000 links with users having the same problem
and not being able to solve it. Shame on Microsoft, very sloppy. It would
have been so nice if Microsoft released Windows Installer 4.0 as a standalone
installation with Vista's release so I could have repaired it, most users
have been doing fresh installs to fix this. Get your act together
Microsoft!!!!

si...e' originale , innanzitutto...ti voglio veramente ringraziare... , pero' con l'inglese stong nu poc...anzi assaij appiccecat , ho provato a tradurlo...fino al punto 2...sono riuscito a seguire la guida...ma dopo non ho capito bene cosa bisogna fare...

1. Andare su un computer con Vista funzionante (qualunque versione). Nella barra di ricerca in start->regedit
2. Cerca HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\msiserver
3. Col tasto destro scegliere Esporta e salvarlo in una penna o altra memoria removibile.
4. Ricerca Esegui e aprilo, scrivi sfc / scannow sul computer danneggiato - non hai bisogno del disco di installazione mentre copia i file sul disco. Non riavviare usando termina.
5. Doppio click sul file .reg salvato dal computer funzionante e importare la configurazione nel Vista danneggiato.
6. Riavvia e prova a installare/disinstallare
